The plague

Here is how my new year has started. Fought off a sore throat between Christmas and New Year's, which turned into a persistent cough all last week, which became a full-blown chest cold Sunday and Monday, which lapsed on Tuesday just long enough for me to develop a stomach virus last night -- with all of the attendant symptoms thereof. So I've missed two of three days of work so far this week from two different illnesses. Must be some kind of record.

This is not an auspicious beginning. Can we start again?
