If I were to add up all the ways I spend my non-work/sleeping/eating/getting ready hours, far too many of them would be spent on non-recreational tasks: things like laundry, checking email, backing up the computer, picking up crap that seems to accumulate on every surface, loading the dishwasher, unloading the dishwasher, transferring photos from the camera to the computer, paying bills. Updating the blog.
